Melbourne, Australia...city of innovative graffiti. I mean, street art!

We just got home from the trip of a lifetime: two weeks exploring the Australian coast.
I'll post more about the trip in the weeks to come, but for starters I want to share with you my shots of the colorful graffiti we found throughout the eclectic city of Melbourne. (pronounced "Melbin" by the Aussies, BTW)
I even caught a few artists in the act. (Boy was that alley filled with toxic fumes!)
Great stuff, though. It really transformed what might have otherwise been dirty depressing back alleys into outdoor art galleries. A real treat.

My latest Stagecrafters Design

Though my passion these days is metalsmithing and working with seaglass and beach stones and sterling silver...once in awhile I get to put my graphic designer hat back on.
This was a fun one.
My favorite graphics assignments have always been those involving designing for kids. I am so glad that Stagecrafters (the local Community Youth Theatre program) still finds fun things for me to work on.

Seaglass Charms: Cobalt Blue, Kelly Green, Teal. Wow!

I just didn't have the heart to separate these three beautiful seaglass gems.
They can be worn separately or two or three at a time.
Any way you do it, they are simply radiant!
